Tyga dropped a music video for his new single "Make It Work," and the rapper appears to be taking aim at Drake in it. The love interest in the video is Drake's ex-flame Dollicia Bryan, who, XXL points out, really wanted to get back at Drizzy. She Instagrammed some photos from the set of the music video last month that showed Tyga getting close with the model. It's also been reported that "Make It Work" is a response to Drake's initial diss, "6 God."
"N---a never was my homie, all these bitches know you're corny n---a," Tyga raps. The artist released the song shortly after dissing Young Money labelmates Drake and Nicki Minaj.
"I don't really get along with Drake," he said. "I don't really get along with Nicki [Minaj]. I don't like Drake as a person. He's just fake to me ... I think his music is good, but we're all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda' like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is."
Drake responded by liking a bunch of pictures on Tyga's ex-girlfriend's Instagram account (Blac Chyna).
"Nobody really likes us except for us/Yeah, all I really needed was the squad so that's what's up/My sound got the whole city away right now/So I don't give a fuck about what anybody saying right now," Drizzy raps on "6 God."
Tyga is currently in the process of trying to release his next album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. He's been pretty vocal over his disappointment with YMCMB lately, saying he feels like a hostage. He also told Power 106 that he would be releasing the effort independently.
Drake's been riding high on the success of his last album, 2013's Nothing Was the Same.
