Listen to Arcade Fire's New Song 'Afterlife' Off Upcoming 'Reflektor'

Arcade Fire premiered its second studio recording, "Afterlife" off the upcoming album Reflektor on Zane Lowes BBC Radio 1 show today.

Over a Depeche Mode-esque sound mixed with Howie Day's Collide, Win Butler sings, "After, oh my God, what and awful word / After all the breath and the dirt and the fires that burn / And after all this time / And after all the ambulances go / And after all the hangers-on are done hanging on to the daed lights / Of the afterglow / I've gotta know / Can we work it out? / We scream and shout 'till we work it out. "

Reflektor is the Canadian band's fourth studio album and the follow up to 2010's "The Suburbs." The 13 songs are spread over two volumes. The first volume has seven tracks, and the second has six. It is due out Oct. 28 via Merge.
