We already told you that Miley Cyrus will be at the MTV European Music Awards, and now MTV has announced her partner in crime Robin Thicke will be there as well. But there is more to expect than a stale repeat of the VMAs. It's the 20th anniversary of Snoop Dogg releasing Doggystyle, so Snoop will be there to celebrate with a performance. Snoop has recently renamed himself Snoop Lion, but for a '7 Days of Funk' project with Dâm-Funk, he is going by Snoopzilla. For those who are eager to hear the December 10th album, they'll see a sneak peek with a live performance. However, we don't know if they'll be performing any new songs aside from the legendary "Gin and Juice." Imagine Dragons is another name added to the long list of musicians, from Katy Perry and the Killers to the evening's host, Redfoo (LMFAO). Singer and actress Ariana Grande will host from backstage and the network divulged that "Ron Burgundy" will be presenting.
The show in Amsterdam will air on November 10th, and fans are currently casting votes online on the EMA website. Pharrell Williams took a big part in Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" and Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," two songs nominate for best song. They'll compete with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for "Thrift Shop" featuring Wanz, Rihanna's "Diamonds" and "Locked Out of Heaven" by Bruno Mars. Imagine Dragons is nominated for "Best Push" and "Best New." So the odds are they will walk away with some award after traveling for the show. But then again, it's Amsterdam and it's fun in the name of music. A good time is expected to be had by attendees and viewers alike.
Who would you vote for best song?
