Miley Cyrus Will Perform at MTV's European Music Awards, Network Hopes Shenanigans Draw Viewers

The network announced on October 17 that Miley Cyrus, who was the "highlight" of the summer's VMAs, would be performing at the European event as well. Cyrus had been drawing headlines for her bad-girl behavior prior to the event, took the pop culture moment of the year when she began grinding all over vocalist Robin Thicke, and seemingly mimicked pleasuring herself with a giant foam "no. 1" finger.
