Ne-Yo Reveals 'Non-Fiction' Tracklist; Album Pre-Sale Available

After months of waiting, Ne-Yo fans finally got word that the sixth album from the "Let Me Love You" singer, Non-Fiction, was going to be released Jan. 27, 2015, via Motown Records/Compound Entertainment. Sparse details were known at the time, but Ne-Yo today has announced the tracklist for the album and released it for pre-sale on iTunes, Amazon or Google Play. The 14-track album will feature previously announced collaborators Juicy J, Jeezy, Schoolboy Q and Pitbull with new work from Candice, T.I., Charisse Mills and frequent musical partner David Guetta.

Fans who pre-order the album will instantly receive three tracks: "She Knows" featuring Juicy J, "Money Can't Buy" featuring Jeezy and "Religious."

As the album title might suggest, each song is derived from a true story that comes from a mixture of Ne-Yo's personal tales and those submitted by fans on Twitter and Instagram.

In a statement via a press release, Ne-Yo explains the concept of the story-telling.

"I didn't just want to tell my story. I like letting people try to guess which is which!" explains Ne-Yo. "I'm a storyteller: With this album, I wanted to put a magnifying glass on that. I wanted Non-Fiction to feel cinematic: Each track gives listeners something entertaining, yet if they take their time with it, they'll discover different dimensions and subplots."
