All of those Grammy performance rumors from last month have proved to be true. Madonna and AC/DC will be repping some of music's more established acts on the Grammy stage this February alongside a slew of pop newcomers, including Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and more.
The Grammys rolled out its initial performance lineup today (Jan. 13) on Twitter after rumors circulated that Madonna would be performing at the biggest night in music. In addition to the leaked news in late December, the "Rebel Heart" herself tweeted out a mashed up photo of her album's new cover and a Grammy award on Monday night, implying she'd be performing at the show.
Later, Madge tweeted a mashup of a heart and a Grammy, once again implying that she'll be performing "Living for Love."
The 2015 Grammys will be Madonna's fifth time at the annual award show. She last performed alongside Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert at the 2014 Grammys for the marriage ceremony and performance of "Same Love."
In addition to the legendary Madonna, rock legacy act AC/DC will also be performing at the Grammys, in further promotion of its new album Rock or Bust.
But the Grammys won't be filled just with acts from the '80s and '90s - the new class of pop will be well represented as well. The Grammys also announced that Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and country's resident badass Eric Church will also take the stage.
Grande is nominated for two Grammys: Best Pop Group/Duo Performance for her Jessie J/Nicki Minaj collaboration "Bang Bang" and Best Pop Vocal Album for My Everything. Sheeran comes into the 2015 Grammys with three nominations. His album x is up for the major award Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. His The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug soundtrack song, "I See Fire" is also nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
Eric Church is also up for multiple awards. His single "Give Me Back My Hometown" is nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance and his Keith Urban collaboration "Raise 'Em Up" is up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Church's 2014 album The Outsiders is also nominated for Best Country Album.
There are more Grammy performers to be announced. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
