DMX has always been an eccentric character. Whether it is his sometimes offbeat raps or his somewhat head-scratching public appearances, the life of DMX is never dull. With that voice anything can be made fun. This time around, DMX, real name Earl Simmons, took a moment during a show with Wu-Tang Clan recently to assure the crowd that he in fact "did not suck d-k." This was not a passing comment, he repeated the statement about a dozen times, which is incredibly puzzling because it is not likely that the crowd went into the show thinking about some non-existent rumors that DMX likes to perform oral sex on men. With such a fervent denial, there will probably be a lot more people who are inclined to think he does now.
In the end nobody really knows what is going on in the world, probably DMX doesn't even know. I guess X is not going to give it to you.
DMX's music just got back in the news for an alleged album that he was going to release this week. However the LP, Redemption Of The Beast, was later said to be an unauthorized album with stolen material. X's publicist spoke to Hip Hop Wired about the album.
"I spoke to DMX today and he was unaware of the upcoming announcement of the 'Redemption Of The Beast' album," said Domenick Nati of Nati Celebrity Services, Inc. "When I read him the projected track list of songs to be released X said, 'That's all stolen music.'"
It would be nice to see some new material from X soon, but alas stolen goods won't cut it.
