Brick Dozer @ Rough Trade-Brooklyn Grand Opening [PIX]

To say I was not impressed by the paltry "MODERN COMPOSITION/CLASSICAL" offerings of Rough Trade's newest outpost down by the water in Williamsburg would be putting it lightly.

Hell, I saw better wax in the bargain bin on Sunday at the WFMU Record Fair--much cheaper, too!

OK, sure, so they had Bernard Parmegiani on 180-gram vinyl. And they had The Wire. Oh, yeah, and a Henry Flynt...pre-Stockhausen mania.

But they also had Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover's bedroom set on display as some sort of objet d'art. And it referenced Tracey Emin--like, that's somehow a good thing on this side of the drink.

You shan't worry, however, my dear Classicalites. I'd never take a picture with my mobile of such dreck. (Miss Emin, I mean.)

No, to do that, well, that would be worse than the collection of titles filed under "MODERN COMPOSITION/CLASSICAL" at Rough Trade-Brooklyn.

Just click-through for yourselves...Verne.
