'RHONJ's' Melissa and Joe Gorga Are Afraid the Government Will Target Them Next for Shady Business Dealings

Nothing has ever scared Joe Gorga quite like watching his sister, Teresa Giudice, be convicted of fraud and then sentenced to 15 months in prison. He is also in the same business that Joe Giudice is in (whatever that may be, we're not sure) and is reportedly more than a little worried that now that the feds have wrapped up their case against the Giudices, they'll be taking a closer look at him. During their time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga has spent just as fast and furiously as Teresa did.

According to a report by Radar Online, the Gorgas have made a concentrated effort in recent months to scale back on their lavish spending. They have seen first hand just how quickly everything can be lost and they also haven't wanted to give the government any reason to start tearing into their finances. Supposedly they have nothing to hide, but if that were really true then would they be so worried about the feds ripping their books apart?

At any rate, watching his sister face jail has made Joe focus on what matters most, supporting the entire family. Melissa has always been one to flaunt material things but sources close to her say that she has become a lot nicer and seems less materialistic. Instead of saying family first, she finally is really focusing on the family and putting them before the hottest car that she wants to buy next. Of course the fact that she no longer feels like she has to keep Teresa's secrets is helping a lot too!

The real question is whether or not the Gorga's need to be worried. Do you think that they are as shady as the Giudices when it comes to business? Does Joe have good reason to be concerned or do you think that watching family end up in prison has just made them extra careful in everything that they're doing? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
