Katy Perry Gets "XLIX" Tattoo Commemorating Super Bowl Halftime Performance [PHOTOS]

Katy Perry delivered a roaring set during last night's Super Bowl Halftime Show, and she commemorated it with some new ink. Still glammed up with her slicked-back ponytail and fur coat, she continued the festivities into the wee hours of the morning, posting a photo on Instagram of a tattoo artist inking "XLIX" into the inside of her ring finger to celebrate a job well done at Super Bowl 49.

"I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight... XLIX," she captioned the image.

Soon after, she posted a close-up of her new roman numerals and also showed off a previous tattoo she got this past fall of Hello Kitty on her middle finger.

Perry's halftime performance featured a dramatic stage production with everything from sharks and stars to mechanical lions. She was joined on stage by Lenny Kravtiz for "I Kissed A Girl" and Missy Elliott for renditions of her hits "Get Your Freak On," "Work It," and "Lose Control." The epic 12-minute, nine song set also featured performances of "Roar," "Dark Horse," "Teenage Dream," "California Gurls," and "Firework."

Although the team she picked to win, the Seattle Seahawks, ultimately lost the big game, Perry still came out a winner.

You can catch Perry on your TV screens once more this coming Sunday for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. The pop star is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for her latest effort Prism against Coldplay's Ghost Stories, Miley Cyrus' Bangerz, Ariana Grande's My Everything, Ed Sheeran's X, and Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour and is also up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her hit single "Dark Horse" featuring Juicy J. The Grammys take place Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. EST.
