It's been a rough couple of months for Iggy Azalea. Despite multiple Grammy nominations, a newly repackaged album and a string of hits, she lost a little bit of focus. Instead, she was engaged in Twitter battles about her integrity as a rapper, with everyone from Azealia Banks to Q-Tip. But now, after a "lover's quarrel" with shoe designer Steve Madden, it seems like the "Trouble" rapper is getting back to business. Today (Feb. 2), after weeks of anticipation, Azalea's shoe line with Steve Madden has arrived online.
Available for pre-order on Steve Madden's website, the shoe line seems to harken back to Azalea's "Fancy" days with '90s tributes all throughout the designs.
Azalea's shoes largely feature a signature cutout and chunky heels, pulling in that old school aesthetic. From the "Checkit" sandal to the "Scubaa" heel, there are wedges, jewels and peep toes for days. The colors also pull into Azalea's signature style, with shades of blue, orange, pink and black playing heavily into the design, much like the colors on her The New Classic album cover.
The shoe line, which is just now available for pre-order, ranges in price from $69.95 for the "Pressin" (a chunky sandal with bold, thick fabric straps) to $149.95 for the "Bout-It" heels, which feature a gladiator-like style with buckles (they're available in orange, blue and white).
Azalea's shoes are only available for pre-order now, with expected shipping date set for Feb. 12.
