Being Cheated on Isn't Such a Big Deal to 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Katie Maloney

Are you a fan of Vanderpump Rules, the reality show on Bravo that focuses on a bunch of twenty-somethings working in Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants? It's generally a hot mess of bad behavior with many drunken nights out as a group that turn ugly. For the most part, they've all dated each other or at least hooked up and the rule of thumb seems to be do whatever you feel like doing, just don't get caught. In a recent episode, Tom Schwartz did get caught cheating on Katie Maloney, his girlfriend of four years, and her reaction was kind of unreal.

While Schwartz says that he paid dearly for his indiscretion, Maloney, in an interview with Hollywood Life, seemed to almost justify her mans' bad behavior! She explained how she was able to stay with him and support him no matter what their group of friends was saying.

"For me, a lot of the reason why I could get past it was [because] there wasn't a romantic relationship or affair. There were no emotions attached to it, drunken, sloppy make-out - that's not a lot to get your panties in a twist about. You know? It's really not, in my opinion. And I think cheating is so bad, and it's really hurtful and damaging to relationships, but it happens. I can have an understanding - as long as [he's] not texting and telling someone that [he] loves them and misses them more than me, it's fine. I'm not saying [he] should go out and do it again, but it's really not the end of the world," said Maloney.

First up, she's right, this wasn't the end of the world, but fans of the show were a bit stunned by her lack of a real reaction. Not only was he caught lying on camera, but Maloney also got to see the footage of how their friends covered for him. Even with that inside view of the situation, she's still sticking by her guy. Do you think that Schwartz is ever actually going to put a ring on her finger? Or is she going to get sick of waiting and finally move on? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
