'Beyoncé' music videos for 'Drunk in Love,' 'XO' premiere on VEVO [WATCH]

If there's one drawback to this era in Beyoncé's career, it's that new music videos are no real surprise. When the pop megastar released her surprise fifth studio album Beyoncé on Friday (Dec. 13), the 14-song record was accompanied by 18 music videos -- one for each song and four bonus tracks. So, when a new single is announced, if you're one of the 617,000 people who have already purchased Beyoncé, you already know exactly what the visual component to the song will look like.

Regardless of the lack of surprise, Beyoncé's VEVO page got a little update yesterday (Dec. 16) with the music videos for the first two official Beyoncé singles, "Drunk in Love" and "XO."

The former song, which is being promoted to urban radio formats, features a video that's as fittingly sexy and hard as the track itself. Queen Bey writhes around on the beach, giving her sexiest looks to the camera while showing off her smokin' body and splashing in the water. Of course, her husband and frequent collaborator Jay Z stops by to deliver his verse, and the two hug and show off just why they are the perfect couple. One particularly poignant moment features Beyoncé laughing and telling Jay Z to "stop," presumably after he cracked some sort of inappropriate joke.

"Drunk in Love," indeed.

Meanwhile, "XO," which is getting play on pop radio formats, features a much more lighthearted video. Bey and her crew play around at Brooklyn's Coney Island, messing around with carnival games, riding the Cyclone and doing an old school "X O" dance that just exudes funtimes.

"Drunk in Love" and "XO" are the lead singles from Beyoncé's surprise fifth studio album. The music videos are available for download, alongside the rest of the album, on iTunes.
