Sean gets emotional on the piano-driven "One Man Can Change The World," reflecting on positive influences in his life, his struggles, and notably his late grandmother, who had a great impact on him. West and Legend take turns on the inspirational hook.
"My grandma told me if you write your name in stone you'll never get the white out / I grinded out that black hole then performed up at the White House," Sean raps. "Standin' next to Jim Carrey, we traded stories then laughed / I said you not the only one I know got rich wearin' masks / Where I'm from I swear they broke / They need way more than the cast / We need more than what you have / And then we need more than that."
The song closes out with a phone call recording of Sean talking to his grandmother.
Dark Sky Paradise is due out February 24. In addition to Kanye West and John Legend, it features guest appearances by Drake, Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Jhené Aiko, Lil Wayne, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and E-40.
