A leak of a 14-track collection believed to be Big Sean's upcoming album surfaced online.
Speculations suggest that a Kanye West fan leaked the album in response to a perceived diss song directed at the rapper in one of Sean's new freestyles.
The chain of events started the with the release of Sean's latest freestyle, "On the Radar," which included the notable line, "I got better things to do than find someone to beef with." Several individuals on social media immediately speculated that this lyric was directed at Kendrick Lamar.
Following this, DJ Hed took to social media to share his conversation with Sean, clarifying that the bar was not meant for Lamar but for another individual who also falls under the Gemini zodiac sign.
Speculation arose when it was suggested that the focus was on West, who, like Sean, is a Gemini and played a significant role in launching Sean's career.
Their relationship hit a rough patch recently when West publicly stated in 2021 that signing Sean to G.O.O.D. Record was a decision he regretted.
In response to what he perceived as a criticism of Sean's freestyle, a user named bigseandon811 expressed his disapproval and alleged that West personally instructed him to release the entire album without permission.
"Since he wanna disrespect Ye so much, here's the album." "F--k him and his whole team."
Although no evidence supports the claim that West told him to do so, it prompts concerns regarding the relationship between West and Sean and how it unfolds.
Rap fans are taken aback by West's alleged actions. The possibility that the rapper was unaware of the leak has also left them shocked at the idea that one of his fans could disrupt Sean's release strategy.

Several individuals on X, formerly Twitter, expressed compassion for Sean, who frequently finds himself being overlooked by those around him.
According to @JCreezyy_, "How Big Sean's WHOLE ALBUM leak in the finest of quality [crying emoji]. My dog can't win."
@salim_mussa said, "I never want someone to hate me as much as that person who leaked Sean's album hates Big Sean." He continued, "Do you understand how crazy it is to leak an entire album that doesn't have a release date, title, or even album art??"

"I love YE. But, knowing Big Sean wrote pretty much all of Graduation is heart breaking. This shit really went left tho. That's brutal," @CiaranDocIE said.
But without delay, Sean swiftly addressed the leak by taking a proactive approach, hinting at an exciting collaboration with The Alchemist.
He said on Instagram, "I'm a just start droppin this new music before they leak it all BIG SEAN x THE ALCHEMIST soon."
But on July 18, Sean officially announced his new album's title and release date.
"BETTER ME THAN YOU. Album Aug 9th. Its Been a journey i cant wait to share with you all."
