Kanye West's financial and legal troubles continue to mount as unpaid taxes and property expenses add to his tumultuous situation

The total amount owed by several of his companies, including Yeezy, has now allegedly reached $1,064,221 due to outstanding unpaid tax liens and property taxes.

The Sun reported that West's outstanding debt, previously documented in January to exceed $1 million, is still rising.

Additional expenses have emerged associated with the sale of his $14 million Monster Lake Ranch in Cody, Wyoming. The property was sold for an undisclosed amount after being listed for sale for three years.

According to documents from Park County's official records seen by the outlet, the Wyoming ranch is currently in arrears of $2,780.33 and $2,966.66 for property taxes, both of which had deadlines in May.

The financial records of Donda Services show a tax lien of $10,924, and Yeezy Construction also shows a lien of $12,425.

The uncertainty surrounding the remaining amount of the "All of the Lights" rapper's wealth continues to puzzle many, given his quick spending spree following his divorce from Kim Kardashian and increasingly erratic behavior.

A report from Forbes two years ago disclosed that West's net worth had plummeted to $400 million.

In the first months of 2024, it was reported that Yeezy generated $19 million in revenue, which was amassed on the opening day of February following West's Yeezy Super Bowl commercial. He and his team shared this information on social media.

As the Yeezy website shut down, however, the company decided to pause new orders and focus on fulfilling the remaining 6,000 orders at a slower pace.

Despite the potential for a future reopening, Yeezy's temporary closure appears to have resulted in major financial losses for the rapper. Reports suggest that his team is currently facing challenges and experiencing disorganization.

This comes after reports that West decided to terminate his lawyer and cease all communication. His legal representative, Brian Brumfield, has formally requested to withdraw from representing the rapper in court. In Touch reported that West's lawyer filed a motion seeking to be relieved as counsel for an assault case that took place in January 2022.

"Defendant, Kanye West, terminated relationship on 6/21/2024. Defendant also will not speak to counsel and Defendant refuses to pay counsel as well.
