Just a day after Bobby Shmurda released his collaboration with French Montana and Rowdy Rebel titled "Right Now," his celebrated single "Bobby B*tch" gets a remix from GS9 second-in-command Rowdy Rebel and QC's Rich The Kid.
Serving as a primer for the upcoming Shmigos Gang mixtape from the GS9 and Migos and their many Atlanta collaborators which includes QC The Label members like Rich The Kid. The Brooklyn-Atlanta connection remains strong even with both New York City rappers behind bars as Rebel and Rich The Kid trade verses over the second single from Shmurda's EP Shmurda She Wrote.
The first two tracks from the mixtape has already been released. One was a remix of Migos's song "Computers," which featured Shmurda already behind bars freestyling from a jail phone over the Migos beat and Rowdy Rebel on the outro. he second cut is a Rich the Kid solo track called "What You Talmbout,"
No definitive release date has been set for the mixtape as of yet.
Bobby Shmurda is currently at Rikers Prison awaiting trial for a variety of charges including criminal possession of a weapon, conspiracy, reckless endangerment and more.
His lawyer recently spoke to Complex about the case and disputes the need for a $2 million bail and the changes against his client.
"They are claiming he is a gang leader and an enforcer. I've never seen a gang leader and enforcer not actually enforce anything. He's not shot anybody. There are no victims in his situation. It's mindboggling to me that this bail is $2 million, but I know what this is about. This is a show ... It's unfortunate because this young man's life is on the line as a result of this thing."
