Kate Middleton Would Love To Deliver Her Second Child at Home

Kate Middleton and Prince William have always maintained that in spite of the royal titles and mountain of cash, they really are just like any normal, young married couple. Before becoming a mother, Middleton was often spotted out running her own errands and grocery shopping in sweats. Slowly but surely they have convinced Queen Elizabeth to modernize the monarchy a little bit but the one thing that she's not budging on is the treatment of potential royal heirs. Once again Middleton is foregoing a home delivery in favor of having another child at St. Mary's Hospital.

Middleton is known for keeping everything as natural as possible and it has been rumored that she had a relatively easy and drug-free delivery of Prince George nearly two years ago. Back then, when the queen found out that she wanted one of the palace guest rooms set up like a delivery room, she flipped and insisted that Middleton deliver at the hospital. Now that Middleton's second child is expected to make a grand entrance in about six weeks, the duchess already knows the drill, but still wishes that a home delivery was even a remote possibility.

While Middleton is anxiously awaiting the arrival of what is reportedly a little princess, she also has some interesting opportunities to think about. Supposedly Anna Wintour is pushing to convince the duchess to appear on the September cover of Vogue magazine. Once early fall rolls around, Middleton and her expanded family will be an even hotter commodity and Wintour is still trying to recover from losing credibility by putting Kim Kardashian on a cover last year. She believes that royalty would help but as of now there's no word on whether or not Middleton will agree.

Are you surprised to hear that Middleton would want a home delivery rather than the typical hospital experience? Do you think that William is secretly happy that the queen completely vetoed the idea and is insisting that his wife deliver in the hospital? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
