Lil Boosie needs a drink of water. According to TMZ, the "Show Da World" rapper was hospitalized Friday in North Carolina for what continues to be a problem that plagues rappers, singers and artists of all types -- dehydration.
While on his way to his show in Charlotte, North Carolina at Club 935, he says he started to feel weak. It became bad enough that the Louisiana rapper decided to go to the hospital where the doctors told him he was "extremely dehydrated" and hooked him up with intravenous fluids, much like athletes during a grueling game.
He had to cancel his performance that night in Charlotte, but he was released the following morning and able to continue his tour yesterday, rushing to Swainsboro, Georgia for his next performance.
The "Life After Death Row" tour continues in March, hitting primarily secondary markets in the south, but it will also make a brief jaunt over to the West Coast, hitting Seattle and Phoenix. The tour will wrap up in Los Angeles on April 25. With a week until the next show, which is in Alexandria, Louisianna, Boosie will have plenty of time to hydrate. It is fair to assume he will be touring with plenty of water from now on. Check out the rest of his tour below and head to his Facebook for more info.
