Justin Bieber appeared in a new trailer recently for his Comedy Central Roast, which will air March 30. The new spot features Roast staple Jeff Ross and pokes fun at the pop star's black-and-white Calvin Klein commercial. The clip makes it seem like Bieber is up for the challenge, which is good because some of these comics are salivating at the idea of verbally slamming the singer.
Bieber is playing drums in the clip below, like he does in the Calvin Klein ad, before Ross makes his way into the frame dressed like a female model. The comedian makes a few unsettling comments before the two get into a shoving match.
"Who is this guy?" Bieber asks toward the end of the commercial.
"Hey, man. I'm your worst nightmare," Ross answers. "Are you ready?"
Bieber recently called out Seth Rogen on Twitter, asking the Pineapple Express actor to be a part of the roast festivities.
"@Sethrogen all I want for my birthday is for you to roast me. I took the twitter bashing please make my bday and do it in person. Thanks," he wrote. "@Sethrogen I would have emailed u but this is the only electronic communication with u that doesn't scare me. Hope to see u at the roast :)."
The roast comes at a good time for the singer. After dominating the headlines in 2014 for some unfortunate events, Bieber stopped by Ellen to discuss his decision to be involved with the Comedy Central series.
"I think it's just cool to like be able to laugh at yourself, you know," he told Ellen DeGeneres. "I've done some things that might not have been the greatest. I just want to be able to laugh about it and kind of just own up to some of the things."
