Brian Wilson is in for a big year, releasing his new album Now Pier Pressure, having a mini-music festival run in his honor ("Brian Fest") and even a biopic is in the works. Now the former/current Beach Boys frontman has announced a tour in support of the new record. Wilson will kick off his jaunt mid-June from Saratoga, CA and loop the country to end up in Seattle by early July (from Rolling Stone).
He'll have some suspiciously familiar assisting musicians with him as well, as fellow Beach Boys Al Jardine and Blondie Chapiln are scheduled to hit the road with him (the pair also appeared on his new track "Sail Away"). They aren't listed as "openers" but fans will still get an excellent performer on that front, as Rodriguez—now renowned for the documentary on his life, Searching For Sugar Man—will play support.
You can check out the full list of dates below, and then the video for Wilson's new single "The Right Time" below that. No Pier Pressure is due out April 7.
