"Thinking Out Loud" singer Ed Sheeran recently donated his Grammy Awards wardrobe to charity. Sheeran is not only booming in popularity musically -- many are impressed with his generous nature.
According to the Mirror, the singer donated eight items of clothing from his dressing room at the Grammy Awards to the St. Elizabeth Hospice charity shop in Framlingham in England. His mother brought the clothes back to England following the awards show, but this was not the first time the "Thinking Out Loud" star donated to St. Elizabeth Hospice. The Mirror also reported that in February 2014 Sheeran donated eight bags of clothes in an effort to help provide hospice care for the community.
"We're so lucky to have Ed's support, and we're sure that these latest donations will be quickly snapped up by eager fans," shop manager Rachail Pollard told the Mirror. "If you'd like the chance to get hold of a unique piece of Ed Sheeran memorabilia, I suggest you pay us a visit as soon as you can."
St. Elizabeth Hospice cares for more than 2,000 people each year, providing support to people dealing with pain, anxiety and fatigue either at their homes, in the community or at the hospice. The hospice provides its services to the community for free. The charity relies on the support and genoristy of the local community.
On its site, the charity states:
"Every day we hear from people who have been touched by our services, and as a result wish to give something back in their own way. This goodwill enables us to carry on caring."
Sheeran, who performed at the Grammy Awards last month, has an exciting next couple months to look forward to. Beginning May 2, the singer will kick off his x album tour at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The tour will conclude July 3 at Summerfest in Milwaukee.
