Migos have some great news for their fans. The Atlanta rap trio of Offset, Quavo and Takeoff has finished their debut artist album, tentatively titled Y.R.N.2, and it is ready to be released.
The trio made the announcment on Twitter, saying, "Album ready #justwaitonit."
In an interview with New York magazine at the beginning of 2015, Migos divulged that the LP should be released sometime in the spring. It will be shared through their own label, Quality Control Music, which should help avoid any major Lil Wayne-Cash Money type of delays.
The announcement was made the day of a Migos concert in upstate New York, where six attendees were reportedly stabbed. None of the victims are in serious condition. No suspects have been found as of yet, but Migos have claimed they had nothing to do with the incident, which escalated from trash being thrown to stabbings.
Migos just released an 18-track mixtape Migo Lingo through their label Quality Control. Hosted by DJ Durel and YRN Lingo, the tape showcased the talent on the label outside Migos, like Rich the Kid, Peewee Longway, Rowdy Rebel and others.
We do not have much information on the upcoming album, but the pair did share their grainy and money-filled video for "Aight," an unreleased cut from the album. They released the debut single from the LP "One Time" at the beginning of February and have been pushing it ever since, but a tracklist or release date have not been released.
