Lil Wayne's waterfront home in Miami is currently under siege. Today (March 11), police in Florida zoomed to the Young Money rapper's home after a 911 call was made reporting that four people were injured after shots were fired in his house.
Florida news station WSVN-TV was on the scene in Weezy's posh La Gorce Island neighborhood, where police in bulletproof vests and the SWAT team were on the scene.
Miami police reported that a called phoned the cops from outside of the home, saying that there was a shooter in Lil Wayne's home and that up to four people may be injured from the gunfire.
WSVN-TV also reports that the police call comes 11 days after police responded to a call saying that a suspicious person was seen at the home snooping around outside Wayne's windows. The person said that he was invited by Wayne but was not arrested because he didn't actually break into the property.
The news station is also reporting that Wayne may not have been home at the time of the incident and that there is no report that this incident is tied to his ongoing battle with his record label Cash Money and his former mentor Birdman. The police have yet to go into Wayne's house as of publishing time.
