After getting its radio premiere yesterday, March 11, with Annie Mac on BBC Radio One, Axwell / Ingrosso have unveiled the music video for possibly their most anticipated single "On My Way," featuring Salem Al Fakir writing the topline, from their upcoming, still-untitled album. The video is the first of two parts, following the pair as Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso are cast as the main characters in a poor, rural area working tough, manual labor jobs where their only escape is to bareknuckle box each other.
The video follows their journey to the fight, driving around and hopelessly trying to hit on women, weight training and hitting bags. The whole town is into the affair and both DJs have backers who have invested money into their winning the fight, which, if they lose, could mean more than just the black eye or broken nose they receive in the fight.
The fight happens and they get into it, trading blows, sparring equally. The fight ends with one of the two winning rather spectacularly, but there is a twist at the end. Watch all the way through to find out and stay tuned for Part 2, which will be the video for "Can't Hold Us Down."
The single is out now on iTunes and U.K. fans can catch them at the Alexandra Palace June 6. Grab your tickets here. Watch the video below as premiered on Complex.
The video was shot on location in Romania and directed by Christian Larson, director for the two Swedish House Mafia documentaries Leave the World Behind and One.
Fans still await the album that should arrive later in the year on Def Jam, but in the meantime they will have to be satisfied with this, "Cant Hold Us Down" and "Something New." Also. where can we get some of that Axwell / Ingrosso juice?
