Wale recently revealed the artwork and tracklist for his highly anticipated The Album About Nothing and now he is getting fans even more amped up with a snippet of a new Kanye West-assisted track ahead of his forthcoming release.
The MMG rhymer previewed a snippet of his collaboration with the G.O.O.D. Music head honcho on his SnapChat account late Friday night, March 13. As noted by Vibe, this marks the first time the two have joined forces on record. But West has teamed up with Wale's comrade Rick Ross on several tracks, including "Sanctified," "Devil in a New Dress" and DJ Khaled's "I Wish You Would."
Should make for an interesting collaboration, right? Take a listen to the snippet after the jump.
Earlier this month, Wale revealed the artwork and tracklist for his new release. Although West is not slated for a feature on the upcoming project, The Album About Nothing will feature J. Cole, Usher and SZA.
The Washington, D.C., rapper first released a trailer for his fourth album last September, more than a year since the release of The Gifted. As previously reported, the three-minute clip features tidbits of some of the rough patches the "Bad" rapper has faced throughout his career, including his public Twitter beef with Meek Mill, the phone call to Complex about not being included on the "50 Best Albums of 2013" list and the time he confronted a Toronto Raptors broadcaster who called him a "local rapper" at a Washington Wizards game.
The trailer also features his good friend comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who was featured on Wale's 2010 mixtape More About Nothing.
The album is set to be released March 31.
