Last month, it was announced that Nicki Minaj's album The Pinkprint became certified gold, selling 500,000 copies. As of late, the Young Money rapstress is prepping a video for an album cut "The Night Is Still Young" and she has been working with Jennifer Lopez's on-and-off boo Casper Smart.
Sources, including Vibe, report that Smart and Minaj are collaborating on the choreography for the video. In photos posted by the Daily Mail, the "Anaconda" rapper hints at a sexy video as she shows off her voluptuous curves in a fitted black satin dress.
In February, Minaj and Rae Sremmurd offered a sneak peek of their video for "Throw Sum Mo" alongside Migos, Young Thug and producer Mike WiLL Made-It. The "No Type" duo also posted a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot to Revolt.
"Throw Sum Mo" is the third single off Rae Sremmurd's debut album SremmLife, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
Minaj is also making waves on the Billboard charts with her hit single "Truffle Butter" featuring Drake and Lil Wayne, which holds the No. 14 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Despite the song's growing popularity, Minaj said there might not be a video for a YM collaboration.
"When a song is that successful without a video, I don't really know if we need one," she told BBC Radio earlier this month.
Minaj also referred to the song as a release "for the streets, for the love," but she did mention that she had a concept in mind if the opportunity presented itself.
In the past, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil' Wayne have collaborated on tracks including the Chris Brown-assisted "Only."
