For as much as Miley Cyrus' fans and watchers can expect for the singer to strip down her clothes, they can also expect for her to strip down her music. Thus, it follows that her third Bangerz single "Adore You" has now gone acoustic. On Jan. 5, a stripped-down version of the new song debuted online, showing off the most basic elements of the track that make it work.
Unlike the party rock anthem that is "We Can't Stop" and the dramatic emotional construction of "Wrecking Ball," Cyrus' third Bangerz single "Adore You" is a raw, truthful track that explores the basic elements of being in love with someone. As a true standout on Cyrus' sometimes sloppy fourth studio album, it's only fitting that "Adore You" would receive this simplistic spin.
With simple guitar strums and tuned down drums, the basic instrumentation allows for Cyrus' lyrics and vocals to truly shine through. Despite her party girl antics and crazy music videos, at the end of the day Cyrus does have the capability to belt out a solid love song. That has never been more clear than in the acoustic version of "Adore You."

"Adore You" is the third single from Miley Cyrus' fourth studio album Bangerz. As she is apt to do, Cyrus released a controversial music video for the track on Dec. 26. The track officially hit radio on Jan. 6.
