Iggy Azalea has never had a problem opening up about personal things in her life. Her forthrightness has even landed her in some hot water in the past and caused her to take a hiatus from social media. However, there was one secret the Australian rapper had been keeping to herself that she later decided was no longer worth hiding: she recently had some breast augmentation.
Speaking to Vogue she detailed her decision to get plastic surgery.
"I did change something: Four months ago, I got bigger boobs," Azalea said, noting she was tired of having padding sewed into her costumes. "I'd thought about it my entire life."
She explained that she was hesitant at first to discuss the change publicly out of fear that many of her young female fans would feel bad about their own bodies.
"But then," she says, "I decided I wasn't into secret-keeping."
She also commented on her much-discussed booty, saying that it's really "about proportion. I have to have everything tailored because I have such a small waist. I'm a 2 or a 0 on the top, and a 6 on the bottom."
The Aussie rapper also participated in a segment called "3 Q's With Iggy Azalea," where she dished on her favorite music video ("Bombs Over Baghdad" by Outkast), who she'd have headline a rap festival (Missy Elliott), what she'd ask Tupac Shakur if she could, which song she wishes she would've written ("Aquemini" by OutKast), who she would love to duet with (Dolly Parton), who she would love to collaborate with (André 3000), and more.
The "Beg For It" rapper recently announced that Britney Spears would be featured on her upcoming sophomore album on the song, "Pretty Girls," which will likely be the effort's first single. She revealed that working with Spears rejuvenated her artistic spirit and that she'll have album out by the end of 2015.
