The premieres and exclusives from Miami continue to roll in from the weekend. In a recent interview with Beatport, Martin Garrix stated that he his main stage set on Saturday night would comprise of 100 percent Martin Garrix music, bootleg or mashups, with at least 60 percent of it being new and original material he would debut. He used that platform to premier his long-awaited collaboration with Ed Sheeran titled "Rewind, Repeat It" and his new track alongside Avicii rumored to feature John Legend, which has been given the fan name "Waiting For Love."
According to an Instagram post by Sheeran in September, "Rewind, Repeat It" has been finished since then and the pair has been sitting on it since then. This release schedule is in start contract to Garrix's collaboration with Usher "Don't Look Down" that seemingly was made and released in two weeks.
The track has the recognizable voice of Sheeran and his guitar providing the structure for the build, while Garrix handles the rest with a cheery, synth heavy crescendo. Listen to the live rip below.
Garrix also used his main stage appearance to premiere his upcoming track with Avicii that the pair must have just finished in the past day or two. Martin posted a picture to instagram of him and Avicii working on the track in a studio and it was apparently ready for Ultra. The instrumental sounds straight out of the Avicii playbook with a True-era pitched lead, similar chords and fx. The vocals are rumored to be John Legend, which would make this one of the biggest power collabs of the first half of 2015. It has been given the fan title "Waiting For You" right now, but no word on an official title or release date, so fans must wait for more details on the collab. Watch the clip below.
