Six years after his death, SiriusXM is celebrating Avicii's legacy by releasing a radio channel featuring some of his greatest hits.

The platform announced Avicii Radio, now available on the SiriusXM app. Fans will enjoy his classic tracks, remixes, and music from previous performances that have yet to be released.

In addition to his songs, some of his industry friends, inspirations, and collaborators, such as Aloe Blacc, Laidback Luke, Armin van Buuren, and Nicky Romero, will also be featured.

The latest launch coincides with Mental Health Awareness Month to bring happiness to its listeners. The project is in collaboration with the Tim Bergling Foundation, created by the late DJ's family after his unfortunate passing in 2018.

"This is a great continuation of Tim's relationship with SiriusXM and Geronimo, SiriusXM's Vice President of Dance Music, who were supporters of his music very early on in his career," the late Swedish musician's father, Klas Bergling, said.

He added that his family appreciates SiriusXM's interest in promoting the emotional well-being of people and their organizations.

On the other hand, SiriusXM's President and Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein reflected on his connection to Avicii, saying they had a special friendship that started during the DJ's early days as a musician.

"To work with his family to observe and celebrate his legacy through music with Avicii Radio is something I am personally excited about and honored to bring to our listeners," he added.

The latest news comes after Avicii's ex-girlfriend, Emily Goldberg, died at the age of 34 due to a pulmonary embolism. An obituary shared on the internet confirmed her death and noted that she died in April.

The last online post that Goldberg shared on social media was a photo of herself lying on a hospital bed in 2023. She told her followers that she was diagnosed with cancer and had since recovered from the health condition.

Avicii and Goldberg started dating two years away before the musician died. The DJ was found dead in Muscat, Oman, and he reportedly died of suicide. He was only 28 years old.

Following his death, Goldberg paid tribute to her ex-boyfriend by sharing an emotional post, saying he was her confidant and best friend, and she couldn't bear to know she wouldn't see him again.

"Wake me up when it's all over," she concluded, referencing the DJ's hit song.
