'Blood, Sweat & Heels' Daisy Lewellyn Reveals Stage 3 Bile Duct Cancer Diagnosis on Season 2 Premiere

Fans of Bravo's Blood, Sweat & Heels are used to watching fashion stylist Daisy Lewellyn navigate through life with a big smile on her face. On last night's March 29 premiere of Season 2, the smile was still there, but so were some tears as she explained how she has been fighting Stage 3 bile duct cancer for several months. Rather than turn to this group of women, some of whom she has been good friends with for years, Lewellyn instead dropped out of sight as she had a tumor removed and went through a round of chemotherapy.

According to the reality star, the only big C that she expected to focus on this past year was her blossoming career, but this medical curve ball has not broken her.

"I have cancer -- cancer doesn't have me. Every day comes with its challenges, but that doesn't stop me from celebrating what I have in my life. I wanted to turn this tragedy into triumph by sharing my story in hopes that even one person could feel inspired," she said.

It is already pretty clear that Lewellyn and her struggle to continue working while rarely feeling well is going to be one of the main storylines on the new season of Blood, Sweat & Heels. It was really sad to watch her explain to her friends why she has been on lockdown lately and how, in each conversation, she ended up comforting the other person for upsetting them by telling them about her cancer. Her energy and ability to put a positive spin on every single moment was equally amazing.

Did you tune in for the season premiere last night? What are your thoughts on Lewellyn's battle and her decision to be filmed during it? Do you think she will help to encourage others who are struggling with a cancer diagnosis, something that is one of her goals? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
