Los Angeles hip-hop station Power 106 FM has announced the lineup for its annual Powerhouse concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The 2015 edition will be headlined by Kanye West with supporting performances from Ludacris, Kid Ink, Tinashe, B.o.B., Ty Dolla $ign, Nipsey Hustle, G-Eazy, Logic, Tech N9ne and Casey Veggies.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 16 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, where the NHL's Anaheim Ducks play their ice hockey.
Pre-sale tickets become available this Wednesday at 10 a.m. -- you can get your code by joining the radio station's email list here. The general public sale begins the following morning, Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m.
For L.A. residents, there will be plenty of opportunities to win tickets over the next five weeks. In every hour on Power 106 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the station will be giving away a pair of free tickets to the concert. You just have to text in when you hear a designated "song of the hour." If you are the 106th texter, then you will win your tickets. The contest begins today, April 6.
The lineup is a stacked cast of artists of who have released albums in the past 12 months or are planning on releasing new LPs. Ludacris just released his first album in six years last week, Ludaversal, while Kid Ink dropped his third studio album Full Speed in February. Fans still eagerly await LPs from Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, who have worked together on their respective albums, though final release dates have not been shared as of yet. Hopefully, they will have something new to share in time for May 16.
