Could Taylor Swift's new single from her smash hit album 1989 be the rumored Katy Perry dis track "Bad Blood?" Though her latest track "Style" is still performing well on radio and on the Hot 100, according to new rumors, a "Bad Blood" remix is just on the horizon.
Earlier today, Headline Planet reported that Swift's label Republic Records made a post to its radio promotion page, stating that a "Bad Blood" remix will be impacting stations beginning May 19. Shortly after the article was published, Republic pulled the announcement from its website, but not before a few Swift fans could capture the page for ATRL.
Though the remix and the status of "Bad Blood" as Swift's next single remains unconfirmed, that hasn't stopped fans from wondering who the mystery guest would be, making "Bad Blood" a top worldwide trending topic on Twitter.
The major buzz is that the surprise guest remixer is none other than Kanye West, whom Swift went into the studio with earlier this year after they buried the hatchet at the Grammys.
Other popular guesses for the guest on the remix include: Cher Lloyd, Calvin Harris or even Katy Perry. Though, the latter option is unlikely. It's been widely speculated that the "Dark Horse" singer is the "straight up enemy" that Swift penned the song about.
For now, though, all the news surrounding "Bad Blood" has been a rumor, but Swift's 1989 era has been marked by spoilers around the release of new singles. First, Swift's music video for "Blank Space" leaked online early, and then news of "Style" being the third single spilled online far before Swift could announce it herself.
