Amina Buddafly's relationship with Peter Gunz has kept fans of Love & Hip Hop New York tuning in for the last few seasons. Gun is not exactly marriage material, and while he is still technically Buddafly's husband, he has always treated her like a side chick. In fact, he married her while still living with Tara Wallace and his two sons. Gunz basically seems to want both women to still want him, and he has bounced between them more times than anyone can count. Buddafly is now speaking up on her marriage to Gunz and also whether or not she is leaving LHHNY.
In a new interview with Juicy, Buddafly admitted that she and Gunz are a work in progress. As usual, he needs to change things and she is hopeful that he can, but until then they are broken up. Wallace has also said she is finished with Gunz, too, so maybe rather than pretending to be single, this time out he actually is a free agent.
As for returning to the VH1 series for a third season, Buddafly is not so sure about that.
"I'm really not the type of girl to even be on a show like that, a reality show, and from the beginning, when I first started doing it, I was like, I really didn't see myself, but I ended up doing it anyway. As far as now, I don't even know. I'm honestly waiting to hear whether or not they're doing another season. They've been talking about it, they've been talking to us, so I do think they want us back if there's another season, but I haven't, you know, I haven't said yes or no yet, and they haven't actually asked me. So I'm really still waiting myself," explained Buddafly.
Do you think Buddafly is really ready and willing to walk away from the steady paycheck that LHHNY has provided her? If she is not with Gunz, then that means she is a single mother to their infant daughter. Will she stick around just so she can pay the bills? How about her relationship with Gunz? Do you think she will eventually take him back again? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
