Drake & 'Know Yourself' Top Rap Genius Lists as Most Popular Artist and Song So Far This Year

The stats are in for the first quarter of 2015 and it's safe to say that Drake is killing the game right now. According to Rap Genius, Drizzy and his IYRTITL track "Know Yourself" top their lists for most popular artist and song so far this year.

The site notes that Drake is the most viewed artist with "Know Yourself" collecting 1,865,000 page views. IYRTITL was viewed nearly 9,000,000 times, about 165,000 times per day since it dropped back in February.

Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West come in at second and third for most viewed artists.

K Dot's "The Blacker the Berry" from To Pimp a Butterfly is also listed as the fourth most popular song. According to Genius, TPAB is growing at a considerably faster rate than Drake's mixtape. Taking that into consideration, Kendrick Lamar may lead the way for the second quarter.

Kanye West has two songs on the most popular list including "Only One" and "All Day." Both tracks feature Paul McCartney. The latter also features Allan Kingdom and Theophilus London.
