There is a mixed bag of news coming out of the Migos camp relating to their recent arrest during at concert at Georgia Southern University. According to posts on social media, two of the group's members Takeoff and Quavo were released, but Offset is still being held in jail on bond. This news comes as a surprise considering on April 20th it was being reported that the group had gone to court and was denied bond.
Judging from the social media posts, it appears as though the trio had a breakthrough legally not just for Quavo and Takeoff, but for the rest of their crew, who might be getting released on bail soon enough.
As previously reported, the group was performing as part of Georgia Southern's "Spring Bling" concert when Statesboro police apparently instructed the concert manager to cut the sound, leading into a raid where Migos and its group of 15 affiliates were each questioned by law enforcement. There's no word on who tipped off the police force, but the situation is very fluid at this point.
The timing of this arrest is not convenient to their upcoming schedule. The trio is slated to go on an extensive tour across the United States for all of May that will be the precursor to their upcoming LP, YRN: The Album. The album is slated for release on June 16 and will have Lil Wayne, Meek Mill and Chris Brown featured. We will see over the coming days whether or not part of the tour is in jeopardy or if they are free to travel across the country even with the legal issues hanging over their heads.
