Miguel is back with a new song and there will be an uptick in babies born in about nine months. The "Adorn" crooner has shared an updated version of his 2014 track "Coffee (F***ing)" that was featured on the December 2014 three-track EP, nwa.hollywooddreams.coffee. This new version features a new verse from Wale, who keeps with the sexual theme started by Miguel over baby-making instrumentals.
Wale has been getting thoughtful lately, diving deep into some pretty serious topics in his past, but he keeps it light and sensual with his verse, tying his bars back into the original track.
'Sup baby, ain't mean to wake you
I can put you back to sleep if that's a consolation
And I'm tired of waiting, so no more disappointment
I'm not your regular Joe, I'll be your coffee in the morning
Fans eagerly await Miguel's third artist album, tentatively titled Wild Heart and according to President of Urban Music at RCA Records and ByStorm Entertainment CEO Mark Pitts, their wait may be coming to an end pretty soon. In a recent interview with Billboard, he updated fans on the progress of Miguel's follow up to 2012's Kaleidoscope Dream.
"We're 90 percent done," he told them. "Its working title is Wild Heart and we're talking second quarter. He's more confident, and it's going to show in the music, his look and in the videos. Miguel is ready to push the button. His first album was about trials and tribulations. The second was OK, we're here; I wasn't bugging. And now it's here we go. He wants people to understand who he is. He's tired of people asking, 'who are you, what's that, do you like girls?' He tells me, 'I want everyone to know I am wild, funny, edgy and love women. I need this album to connect.'"
