Major Lazer Remix Stromae "Ave Cesaria" Before 'Peace Is The Mission' Release

Major Lazer are busily preparing for the release of its second full-length album Peace Is The Mission, releasing singles from the album, as well as stand alone tracks and remixes. The trio just released a new, free remix for Belgian, singer/songwriter/producer Stromae's 2013 song "Ave Cesaria." Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jillionaire flip the track on its head with swirling horns and a halftime, swinging beat.

Stromae's vocals are kept in the builds, while they take the track to the dance floor with their big drums and added synths. Stream and download the song below on Soundcloud.

Stromae has seen some big cosigns of late in 2015. At Coachella he managed to get Kanye West to join him on stage to perform Yeezy's remix of "Alors On Danse" live at the festival. Now Major Lazer has given their seal of approval to the Belgian with this dance floor-driven remix.

Major Lazer have a very busy rest of 2015 ahead of them. Thursday night will be the fourth episode of their new FXX Animation Domination TV show, Major Lazer. The first three episodes have teased new music from the trio not seen on the album, but originally designed just for the show. Clips of songs like "Weed Man" and "Bass Drop" featuring the voice of Andy Samberg as Dr. Nerd have already hit the web. Many more tracks are expected to surface as the season progresses.

The album Peace Is The Mission will be released in less than a month on June 1. They have already released almost half of the album with tracks like "Night Riders," "Lean On" and "Roll The Bass." The remix above is another taste of what they have been working on recently.
