Most eyes are focused on the festivals right in front of us kicking off on Memorial Day Weekend and then throughout the first few weeks of June, but that has not stopped TomorrowWorld, the American outpost of Tomorrowland, from kicking off its drawn out lineup announcement process. The ID&T festival appears that it will take after its Belgium parent and slowly tease the full, 300+ artist announcement one small bit at a time. Today, May 12, TomorrowWorld has unveiled its first headliner -- the voted number one DJ in the world, Hardwell.
This will be the "Echo" DJs second time performing in Chattahoochee Hills. He previously played on the main stage for the inaugural edition of the festival in 2013.
He is the first act to be announced with plenty more to arrive in the coming days and weeks.
With the announcement of his arrival to Georgia in September, TomorrowWorld and Hardwell created a short promo video that highlights the 2015 theme "Key Of Life." Watch the promo video below.
The ID&T camp has slowly released news about who might be at the festival. In March, the stage curators were revealed, which included Adam Beyer's Drumcode, the management company for Flume, Future Classic, Hardwell's Revealed and more.
2014 featured a wide variety of major EDM acts like Skrillex, Tiësto, Nicky Romero, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Bassnectar, Maceo Plex, W&W, Sub Focus and more. It attracted 160,000 attendees from more than 75 countries.
TomorrowWorld will take place Sept. 25-27 just outside of Atlanta in the rolling countryside of Chattahoochee Hills. You can purchase festival and camping passes on their website here.
Stay tuned for more artist announcements soon.
