Insane Clown Posse and the Gathering of the Juggalos are on the move. In December, it was announced that the annual music and lifestyle festival would be leaving its home for seven years, Cave-In-Rock, Ill., after tensions between vendors in town, the band and Juggalos came to a head after the 2013 Gathering. Today (Feb. 3), Insane Clown Posse have announced the new location... Harlequin Park in Kaiser, Mo.
According to ICP's newsletter The Hatchet Herald, the 15th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos will be in Kaiser, Mo. from Aug. 6 to 9, and according to the band, this location is much improved from Cave-In-Rock.
"Juggalos, this place is the S***! I'm serious. It's got the same level of intimacy that we enjoyed at Hog Rock for all those years but this campground also has plenty of flavor that Hog Rock didn't have, including CELL PHONE RECEPTION! NEARBY HOTELS! NEARBY STORES! ACTUAL F***ING CIVILIZATION!" the announcement read.
Kaiser will mark the seventh location for the Gathering of the Juggalos and the first in Missouri. Previous locations included Cave-In-Rock, Ill., Garrettsville, Ohio, and Toledo, Ohio.
More information about the 2014 Gathering of the Juggalos will be available on the festival's website on Feb. 7.
