Weezer was one of the acts announced as part of the new NIFi Festival at the Kentucky Speedway, and you should expect the band to pop up at numerous and varying festival settings around the United States this summer as the band supports its new(ish) album Everything Will Be Alright in The End (from Pitchfork).
That festival lineup was just released this week and thus far it hasn't been added to the new collection of tour dates that Weezer released yesterday as well. Most of the dates on the tour are in fact at festivals or larger events, with a few one-off shows in between. The band has also been announced for another Midwest/Ohio-area festival in the form of Columbus, OH's CD102.5 Summerfest, between July 23 and July 25.
