It's June, which means that wedding season is in full swing. If you're in the middle, end, beginning or just dreaming of your big day there's one big looming question: what makes for the best first dance? Well, now Spotify has rolled out the most popular wedding music from its playlists, and as it turns out new brides and grooms love dancing to the likes of Ed Sheeran, John Legend and of course Elvis Presley.
The most popular first dance song for couples getting married in 2015? Sheeran's massive mushy hit "Thinking Out Loud," of course, thanks to the tender lyrics and the sweet plucking of the acoustic guitar. For those who prefer to keep things modern, singles from Bright Eyes, Train, Adele and Jason Mraz also made the cut for first dance music, as The Hollywood Reporter reports.
But, the classics stay on top, as well. Etta James' classic "At Last" (a favorite song of President and Mrs. Obama) clocks in as the second most-popular first dance song. Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" is also at the top of the list.
When it comes to wedding music as a whole, Legend's chart-topping "All of Me" comes in as the most popular wedding song this year. There are plenty of other wedding themed songs that made the cut. Bruno Mars' "Marry You," Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" (from Twilight: Breaking Dawn) and Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed Delivered (I'm Yours)" are among the top 50 biggest songs.
