Swedish DJ super-duo, Axwell / Ingrosso has released the music video for its recent single "Sun Is Shining." The track was originally previewed at the end of April as the soundtrack to the new H&M summer clothing series with some of the most well-known supermodels in the world including Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Doutzen Kroes and Natasha Poly. The new video coincides with the tracks official release on iTunes and Spotify so fans can have a new, cheery summer anthem in their libraries.
The video was shot on location in Antwerp, Belgium and you guessed it: Everyone is dressed in H&M clothing.
"Our stylist worked closely with H&M to get every single character in the video dressed just right: clean-cut basics with a summer touch, but neutral enough to keep the focus on the lyrics and the beautiful surroundings of Antwerp, which were the main scenery of this film," says director Nicolas Caeyers in a statement.
The video is a bit of blend between an official music video and a lyric video, which they have released both for their prior singles. Various good-looking people on the street pick up sheets of paper with small bits of the lyrics as vocalist Salem Al Fakir croons them.
"The song releases such an amazing amount of energy and happiness in the chorus, which inspired me to have a tornado of lyrics flying through the city. If you watch this video in the morning, you should go through the rest of the day feeling fantastic. That was the idea," says Caeyers.
Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso star in the video, writing some of the words with special branded markers and watch the tornado of lyrics from a distance.
No word on when their album will be released, but it is expected some time before the end of the year.
