On the heels of her induction, Dej Loaf is the next 2015 XXL Freshman to have her freestyle and profile released.
In her freestyle, Loaf spits bars about "cooking all white like a chef" and aggressive groupies. She even name drops Osama Bin Laden.
Loaf, who emerged on the mainstream scene last fall with her hit "Try Me," said making the XXL cover has been her dream.
"Last year I was looking at the XXL cover and I was like, 'Man, I want to be on it,' and it's like you say it every year, like a goal, and then you finally get that chance to really be on there and it's really like a dream come true," she told the publication. "That was definitely one of my goals, to make it on the cover this year. So, it's like, 'Wow, we did it. I'm really here.'"
The Detroit rapstress is currently prepping the release of her debut EP due out this summer as well as her debut album due out this fall. Both projects are not-as-yet-titled.
Aside from her own buzzworthy tracks, Loaf has also been featured on songs including Eminem's "Detroit vs. Everybody," Kid Ink's "Be Real" and The Game's "Ryda."
This summer, Dej Loaf will join Nicki Minaj on the road for the North American leg of her The Pinkprint tour. Meek Mill, Tinashe and Rae Sremmurd will join, too. The tour kicks off in Dallas on July 17.
Loaf is nominated for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Best New Artist at this year's BET Awards.
As previously reported, this year's cover also features Tink, Vince Staples, Fetty Wap, OG Maco, Raury, K Camp, Shy Glizzy, GoldLink and Kidd Kidd.
This year's entire class is slated to play a big show together in NYC on June 30 at the Best Buy Theater. Tickets are on sale now.
