The 2014 Pitchfork Music Festival lineup is the latest concert series to get its official acts announced and, oh man, this one is a doozy. As to be expected with the always-hip music reviews site, the headlining and first round of supporting acts at Pitchfork Music Festival are a true who's-who of the indie world.
Today (Feb. 14), Pitchfork announced that Beck, Kendrick Lamar and Neutral Milk Hotel are the fest's three major headliners. Fresh off the release of his 12th studio album Morning Phase, Beck will be Friday night's headliner, with a reunited Neutral Milk Hotel on Saturday and indie's favorite rapper/that guy who made "Radioactive" listenable Kendrick Lamar will tackle Sunday's lineup.
Supporting acts come courtesy of some of indie music's hottest rising acts, from a wide variety of genres. Grimes, Sun Kil Moon, Slowdive, tUnE-yArDs, DIIV, Sharon Van Etten, and Death Grips are all also slated to perform over the three-day fest.
More acts will be announced soon.
The annual Pitchfork Music Festival will take place in Chicago on July 18 through 20. Tickets are on sale now for the event, with three-day passes at $130 and single-day for $60.
