It's never too late to stand up for a cause. The SCOTUS made its decision to make same-sex marriage legal nationwide last Friday, and while people have been celebrating the cause all weekend with parades and parties, Beyoncé took today to celebrate the historic decision with a fun remake of her "7/11" music video.
Queen Bey shared this short video on her Instagram earlier today with the caption, "Never Too Late #LoveWins." In the video she's dancing in various pride-themed outfits, celebrating the cause with rainbow flags, colorful wigs, and quirky dance moves.
This isn't the first time Beyoncé has used her social media as a platform to show her support for same-sex marriage. In 2013, she posted a handwritten note on her Instagram that read, "If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it. We will unite 4 marriage equality!"
Beyoncé's mogul hubby Jay Z has also voiced his opinion on the matter in the past. In a 2012 interview with CNN, he stated that he's a proponent of gay marriage. When asked what he thought about President Obama's endorsement of same-sex marriage, the "99 Problems" rapper stated, "I've always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That's their business. It's no different than discriminating against blacks. It's discrimination, plain and simple."
Beyoncé and Jay Z are amongst the list of celebrities who openly support the LGBT community and same-sex marriage. Others include Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Russell Simmons, Eminem, and Janet Jackson, to name a few.
When talking about her loyal gay fans, the "Flawless" singer stated, "If anyone is brave and true to themselves, it's my gay fans. The amount of confidence and fearlessness it takes to do what maybe is not what your parents expect you to do or what society thinks is different — to be brave and be different and be yourself — is just so beautiful."
