Demi Lovato Falls at 'Cool for the Summer' Release Party, Embraces Stumble on Twitter [WATCH]

Demi Lovato: Cool for the Summer

Demi Lovato: Really Don't Care

At the "Cool for the Summer" pool party, hosted by radio station 102.7 KIIS-FM, Lovato was dancing on rooftop pool platform to her sunny new single. All of a sudden, the pop star stepped into a puddle of water, tumbling to the floor.

She played it off in stride though, getting back up only to jump into the pool with full force, splashing her fans on the way down.

Though many pop stars may have taken the tumble and shied away from it, Lovato played up the incident on her Twitter, creating the new clumsy embracing hashtag #NOTcoolforthesummer.

She also posted a slow motion video of herself falling into the pull (and eventually jumping), simply writing "F*ck it."

"Cool for the Summer" was released on July 1, just days after Lovato announced the new track. It acts as Lovato's first new single following the release of her 2013 album DEMI, which spawned the singles "Heart Attack," "Made in the USA," "Neon Lights" and "Really Don't Care."

Lovato is expected to release a new album later this year on her new record imprint, Safehouse Records, which she founded with friend Nick Jonas and their manager Phil McIntyre.
