Drake's 'Energy' Music Video Casting Call Resurfaces

Earlier this week, Drake hinted at the release of a video for "Energy" with a brief clip posted on Instagram. In a weird coincidence, the video's casting calling recently resurfaced too.

As noted by XXL, the casting call was first posted on Facebook back in April by the alleged casting director, Ashley Hallian. The video will reportedly be divided into three "different vignettes with Drake in the mix." The casting call indicates that the scenes will include an "awkward Drake family portrait" and a shot of Mayor "Drake Ford" who's seen in a parking garage with a drug dealer. The final scene, listed as "Drake the Model," will feature Drizzy's face imposed on a model's body.

It has not yet been confirmed whether or not the posting is legitimate. However, Drake did share a random photo of former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford on Instagram a few weeks ago and the casting call just so happens to call for someone to "resemble Rob Ford's body."

In the previously released snippet, Drizzy and his posse appear in a black and white frame along with individual photos of two young boys. Aside from the "Jungle" short film, which was released prior to IYRTITL, Drake has not released any official videos for any of the project's tracks.

Next month, the 6 God will host his annual OVO Fest at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. J. Cole will headline the first night of the festival on Aug. 2 along with Big Sean,YG, Jeremih, Bas, Cozz and Omen.

Drake is the only act confirmed for Aug. 3, with more "special guests" slated to be added to the bill.
