Ariana Grande Addresses Donut Controversy, 'I Hate America' Quote in Candid Apology Video

Ariana Grande: One Last Time

In a four-minute video entiled "sorry babes," a puffy-faced, post-oral surgery Grande opens up about her diva behavior, saying that she too watched the TMZ video and was not pleased with her actions. And though she issued an apology earlier in the week focusing on childhood obesity in the U.S., she even said her first round of "I'm sorry" was misplaced.

"I just wanted to make a video to apologize again for the donut video fiasco and craziness because I feel like the apology I posted... I kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which is not exactly relative. I could have expressed myself in a different way," she opened up saying.

After saying that she was sorry, Grande admitted that "I've never actually been prouder to be an American, to be honest, with the advances that we've made in the last couple months and all of the wonderful progressive things that have been going on. I've never been prouder of this country, actually."

Grande noted that seeing the video, where she also licked an unpurchased donut and was rude to an employee was a "rude awakening" and that she was disgusted with herself upon seeing the footage. "Seeing how ugly you look when you behave a certain way makes you never want to behave that way again," she said. "I'm 22 years old. I'm human. I still have a lot to learn."
